When I was in Tampere Vocational College, I participated in modifying and upgrading an existing flight simulator rig, complete with mock Garmin G1000 displays. My most notable contribution was retrofitting a landing gear lever from a Valmet Redigo into the setup and making it fully functional. This led me to design proprietary circuitry using multiple logic gates to achieve the desired outcome.
